16 Dec 09 And one of the lovelies who came out to see me asked: “how do you have the patience to do embroidery? You must be really calm…” 9 Dec 09 Featuring dimensional stitch, metallics, and wire work, all on vintage fabrics, this collection ROCKS! (MANY thanks to my dear Edward who selflessly helped me source awesome tapestries and vintage throws to deconstruct for the ground fabrics [...] So, I’ve been running around stitching on everything that will stand still to create enough work for the BIG day saturday. I was so fortunate to land a demo/sale day right before the holiday, so I’m planning to clean OUT the studio & get rid of all the samples and one-offs that seem to accumulate [...] |
