Ain’t he great? As the weather continues to warm–yee hoo!–I keep dreaming of the ZOO!! And all the wonderful animals! This gator is available NOW in the Fearless Stitcher Market, and will soon have a few zoo-y friends! Watch Out! This little gator is the beginning of a set of zoo designs which will trickle into the Fearless Stitcher Marketplace this week. I don’t know if it’s the cold weather or just the want of animals to sketch, but I’ve been doodling all about the zoo this weekend. This design was painted with watercolor pencils [...] Woo Hoo and throw the confetti! The lovely administrator of the BDEIG contacted me and shares our belief that it is crucial for our stitching pleasure to perfect the versatile bullion stitch! I’ll be including a Hardest Working Stitch feature on it in an upcoming post, but suffice it to say that the BDEIG is [...] Well, in addition to the *new* products in the Fearless Stitcher Market I have worked a few new stitchy elements on the Butterfly She Not only is it finished for me–but for YOU and now available in the market! I’ve been itching to tackle a bigger She–the previous is about 12″ square, but I want a grid with bigger cells, and so… TAH-DAH!! I’ve taken a 16″ square frame and started working in an irregular grid to get the media mixing going on. Some stamps, some collage, and next she’ll get some watercoloring madness to [...] For the SundayWednesdayInStudioHappening–come on in! Look around. FoS has had time to smoothe on a bit of lipstick and pat on a little rouge–she’s certainly feeling more ready to face the world and be seen. So that’s basically what today has been about–and my Artfire column which is (whisper) a week late.
